Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
The aim is to train students of animal cognition in all steps of scientific inquiry from how to create hypotheses, establish an experimental design, collect data, analyze the results statistically and lastly to interpreting and presenting the project in oral and written publications. Students work in small groups on novel, unanswered projects. This course is specially recommended for students interested into working out a diploma thesis in the field of cognitive ethology.
