Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
The aim of the practical course is to train students in how to i) approach scientific questions, ii) design and conduct experiments and iii) disseminate the findings via oral presentations and a written report. Students will work in small teams on research projects currently pursued in the Dept. of Cognitive Biology, allowing them to get a glimpse on the empirical side of hot topics in cognition. The course shall raise awareness of what is needed in research and prepare students for conducting their master thesis. The empirical project is structured in three units: i) development of a project proposal, ii) data collection and analysis and iii) presentation of results
