Aims, contents and method of the course

The goal of the seminar is to reach a deeper understanding of the many facets of sensory perception and their relation to brain functions and cognition. It will bring together the neurosciences with psychology, which speaks the language of cognitive experiences and with philosophy, which has been thinking about the meaning and origin of consciousness since its beginning.
