300689 SE An Introduction to human cognition (2007W)

This seminar is an introduction to human cognition from a neurobiological perspective. First, I will talk about one particular model trying to explain and to define human cognition. I will also mention several examples of scientific investigations in the frame of human cognition, including implicit memory, false recognition, olfactory influences on word and face processing, etc. Then, students are invited to give a presentation about one study which they can freely choose. Perhaps, I can organise an excursion to a laboratory.
