Aims, contents and method of the course
Introduction into terrestrial quaternary Paläobiologie, emphazise on Europe: methods of dating: absolute and relative, the scientific problems of these methods and the state of the art of modern chronology. Introduction into tooth morphology and enemal structure of the most important ice age mammals. Basis in mammal biochronology, specially of Insectivores, Rodentia, Carnivora, Suidae, Equidae and Elephantidae. Overview on the development on other continents other than Europe: North-South America and Australia.
