Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

The seminar will be held jointly with lecturers and students from the Karolinska Institute (Stockholm). Like the University of Vienna, the Karolinska Institute will participate with 10 students max.
Presentations will deal with the following topics:
- Mechanisms of infection and subversion of the immune response by bacteria.
- The antibacterial immune response
- Vaccination and antibacterial therapy
Successful participants will present a paper on one of these topics.
