Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
Students will learn about basic processes in the pharmaceutical industry starting from basic research to industrial production. Emphasis will be given to the planning of clinical trials an quality management issues (GMP, GLP, ...). The lecture will cover drug development, development of clinical trials and the evaluation of diagnostics (commercial as well as clinical). Commercial issues typical for start-ups (and single projects) will be touched upon throughout the lecture.
