Seminars will be on Thursdays 14:00 -15.00 h in the Lecture Hall A of the Dept. for Structural and Computational Biology, Campus Vienna Biocenter 5, 1030 Vienna.

Starting the first week of March 2016.
Attention, the first seminar will be on Wednesday the 1st March.

Seminar series will cover new/modern topics in structural biology from new techniques and methods in NMR, electron microscopy and X-ray diffraction, molecular biology, protein chemistry, and bioinformatics to complementary biophysical methods.

The seminars are delivered by top-notch international speakers!

Aims, contents and method of the course

We are excited to announce an upcoming Seminar Series covering cutting-edge topics in Structural Biology! The series will explore new techniques and methods in:

- NMR, electron microscopy, and X-ray diffraction

- Bioinformatics and complementary biophysical methods

The seminars will be delivered by renowned international speakers, providing valuable insights into the latest advancements in the field.

You will receive an email invitation with details about each seminar, including the speaker and talk title.

Assessment and permitted materials

Compulsory attendance; the evaluation consists of different performances: quality and completeness of the seminar presentation (if the student desires a mark, she/he is expected to give a seminar) , active participation in the scientific discussion of the presented publications; each of the subgrades must have a positive evaluation.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Minimum 70% attendance is required.
