The seminars will take place on Thursdays 5pm at the CACB, Schwarzspanierstraße 17. The dates of the 4-5 seminars will be fixed in the preliminary meeting: Thursday 05/10 5pm, Kleiner Histo-Hörsaal, Zentrum für Anatomie und Zellbiologie (CACB).

Aims, contents and method of the course
Advanced seminar for Biology/Molecular Biology students, including the critical discussion of recent literature in the field of epigenetics. Requirement: Lecture Epigenetics- From basic mechanisms to medical applications or comparable lecture. Limited number of participants, max. 20. Prior knowledge in Epigenetics is required. Assessment and permitted materials
The evaluation consists of different performances: quality and completeness of the seminar presentation, active participation in the scientific discussion of the presented publications, written records (the percentage of the subgrades will be announced by the course leader); each of the subgrades must have a positive evaluation.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Attendance at all seminars and presentation of one epigenetics-related topic (15-20 min talk)
