Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

The goal of this seminar is to discuss current themes in microbiology and microbial ecology. In team work and seminar talks, participants will use primary literature and get to learn concepts and challenges of contemporary microbial ecology. They will discuss and develop approaches to solve problems provided by the instructors, e.g. in the field of microbiome research or environmental microbiology.

This course will be co-taught with Dr. Stephanie Schnorr

Vorbesprechung will be virtual on zoom on Monday 4th March at 10:00 - 11:00. Zoom details will be given in Moodle.

Assessment and permitted materials

Continuous assessment of course work. Active participation in team work and scientific discussions; quality of the seminar presentation.
