Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
The lecture features a comprehensive and clear access to the basics and techniques of tissue culture, to various physiological and pathological transitions of cells and to gene expression and signal transduction during tumor progression and metastasis. In addition, insights into the rapidly developing issue of cancer stem cells will be delivered. The lecture will be presented by Powerpoint slides and has the goal to convey integrative knowledge of the molecular and cellular events during physiological and pathological processes. The lecture is closely linked to and the prerequisite for the practical course "Übung in Molekularer Genetik und Pathologie"(Zellbiologie, 301120).
Assessment and permitted materials
