Aims, contents and method of the course
This lecture course is focused on the molecular mechanisms of classical genetics.The following topics will be covered:- Model organisms and their genomes- Genome sequencing- Mendel genetics and deviations- Molecular principles of meiosis- Molecular mechanisms of homologous recombination- Genetic mapping- DNA organisation: chromatin
