new techniques and methods in NMR and X-ray diffraction, cryo Electron Microscopy, molecular biology, protein chemistry, and bioinformatics to complementary biophysical methods. High-profile speakers, who are recognized international experts in their field, are invited to present their current research in form of a talk, which should additionally contain some pedagogical introduction to the non-expert. The aim of this seminar series is to give students an idea of scientific frontiers rather than teaching established textbook knowledge. It is also intended to guide students in their choice of a subject and a research lab for their graduate work by giving them a taste of the research world.The schedule can be found here:
