Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

This lecture series will focus on cell type-specific mechanisms and features of the CNS, including aspects of Development (cell lineage, origin, interactions, migration, differentiation); Histology and Cell biology (cell-specific markers, morphology, intracellular transport, neurotransmitter localisation and release, intercellular interactions); Regulation of gene expression (transcription, translation,
post-translational modification and signal transduction); Molecular mechanism of inherited neurodegenerative disorders and corresponding disease models (e.g. Huntington disease, leukodystrophies, Alexander
disease) for neurons and glia."

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Each of the 4 questions will be evaluated by the respective lecturer of this questions giving a maximum of 10 points. Thus you can get a total of 40 points (1-20=5; 21-25=4; 26-30=3; 31-35=2; 36-40=1).
