Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
The course is designed to give you an insight into how viruses work by establishing principles which can be applied to several viruses. The characteristics and properties of the viruses and the reasons for the diseases they cause will be explained in molecular terms. Several important viruses will be used as examples. Viruses causing epidemics or current outbreaks of disease will be an essential part of the course. It will not be a list of viruses and their diseases!

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
the exam has 8 questions of which you should answer 6. For each question, there are maximal 10 points. You need 30 or more to pass the exam
