Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
This course examines the molecular, cellular and biochemical basis of a variety of human pathologies. Some of these aliments include, Diabetes, Obesity, Aging, Osteoporosis, Arteriosclerosis, Hypertension and aspects of Neurodegeneration (Alzheimer's Disease, Parkinson's and ALS). Also included are discussions concerning DNA- instability and inherited mutations and their relation to these diseased and to cancer.
