Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Probabilistic models for sequences and structures, such as hidden markov models and stochastic context-free grammars. Structure prediction methods for biopolymers such as secondary structure prediction for proteins and RNA, knowledge based potentials, fold recognition and homology modelling).

Assessment and permitted materials

Oral exam.
Due to the COVID situation exams will be held online via BigBlueButton.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

To obtain a positive grade, at least half of the exam questions have to be answered correctly.
