Aims, contents and method of the course
Basic methods used in Microbiology and Genetics of unicellular organisms: growth; cultivation; identification. Genetic manipulation of bacteria: mutagenesis; conjugation; transformation;
Assessment and permitted materials
Compulsory attendance; the evaluation consists of different performances: active participation and results obtained, written homework, theoretical knowledge including final exam; each of the subgrades must have a positive evaluation.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Minimum requirements for passing the course: Attendance, protocol, final exam.Assessment criteria: practical work 25%, written homework 5%, final exam 70%
