    Aims, contents and method of the course

    functions, differentiation, integration, differential equations (reaction kinetics), matrices

    Assessment and permitted materials

    Written exam.

    Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

    At the end of the course all students should have a command of mathematics commensurable with average Austrian high school standards. In addition, the course explores selected elements of calculus, differential equations and applied mathematics relevant to chemistry and biology.

    Examination topics

    Es gibt nach der Vorlesung mehrere Prüfungstermine einer 90-minütigen schriftlichen Prüfung,
    die positiv absolviert werden muss.
