Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

This lecture gives an overview of the development, evolution and biochemistry of the RNA and its activities in the cell. It contains the chemistry of the elements as well as the mechanisms of catalysis of RNA dependant reactions. The construction and destruction of RNA in cells, modifications and processing steps of the RNA, and the biological activities of the different types of RNA are discussed in more detail.
