Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Different methods used to study gene expression and protein-protein interactions in bacteria will be presented. The participants will be intoduced to a selection of these techniques by studying current research topics of the group. Methods to address the following questions will be applied:
- Strength of translational initiation signals
- Regulation of translation by non-coding RNAs and proteins
- Techniques for the analysis of protein-RNA interactions
- Techniques for the analysis of protein-protein interactions
- Purification of recombinant proteins to homogeneity

Assessment and permitted materials

The evaluation consists of different parts: active participation and results obtained; written report; theoretical knowledge;
