Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
To acquire practical experience in the context of "Wahlbeispielen" in laboratories of participating group leaders. The reseach topics are more or less related to those discussed in the lecture course Molekulare Medizin I. Can also be performed in two or more groups dealing with related research topics.Individual instruction on the use of modern molecular biological techniques for special questions of current medical-scientific research experiments. Independent planning and execution of experiments, documentation, discussion, summary of the results in a protocol.
Assessment and permitted materials
Assessment of all experiments, techniques and results, the written protocol and the presentation of the work performed by the supervisor.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Compulsory attendence.
The participant should be able to autonomously perform experiments, particularly with the help of techniques in molecular biology.

Examination topics
The participants will be involved in ongoing research projects under individual supervision in one of the participating groups.
