Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

The course is to be taken together with a practical course in the major Microbiology/Immunology of the curriculum Molecular Biology. The students present the experimental approach and results of their practical course in a talk (20 ¿ 25 min, PowerPoint presentation). There are two appointed days in the summer term: March 33, 2006 and June 1, 2006, always 2:00 ¿ 6:00 pm in the seminar room of the Department of Microbiology and Immunobiology, 4th floor, room 4.120, Dr. Bohr-Gasse. For the registration use the Students Page at homepage of the Institute of Microbiology and Genetics. There are 10 slots on each appointed day. Presentations language is German or English. Projector and computer are available. The talk and attendance on the particular day are required for obtaining the credit. In addition, the students are required to write a summary of the presentations of the respective day (1/2 ¿ 1 A4 page per presentation, to be sent to: pavel.kovarik@univie.ac.at).
