Aims, contents and method of the course
Within this training course the student will learn the most important aseptic working techniques and, basing on selected examples, will establish in vitro-cultures (callus, organ, cell cultures). In doing so the effects of different plant growth regulators will be emphasised. Through relevant techniques like embryo rescue and mictotuber induction as well as acclimatization of micropropagated plants the relevance for the cultivation of medicinal plants is to be demonstrated.
