The phenomena of racial or ethnic discrimination are among the most challenging human rights issues in today's world. The course will provide the participants with insights on the functioning of individual and institutional racism and a discourse on the existing international and european measures taken against it. The correlation of the right not to be discriminated against with other basic human rights like freedom of expression will be discussed and there will be practical exercises on these issues.
