Aims, contents and method of the course
Over the years human rights of children and youths have increasingly become a major concern for many countries, with problems ranging form child labour or protection of children in armed conflict to domestic violence or meaningful participation in decision-making processes. The Seminar will examine a broad variety of aspects to the current situation of children and youths, including the position of children in society; competence/age limits; international children's rights standards/UN Convention on the Rights of the Child; domestic implementation of standards.
