Aims, contents and method of the course

The number of drugs is steadily increasing. Blood- and derivatives give an excellent example of different generations of biological drugs. Topics will be manufacturing, pharmaceutical characterisation, safety of biologicals and furture aspects of pharmaceutical biotechnology.

Assessment and permitted materials

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Understanding of different aspects of pharmaceutical biotechnology based on a special segment of pharmacology, the pharmacology blood- and plasma derivatives.
