Aims, contents and method of the course

Methods for the asymmetric synthesis of enantiomerically pure compounds: General aspects of chirality, the chiral-pool as fundamental source, chirality and drugs, resolution of racemates, ex-chiral-pool synthesis, auxiliary controlled asymmetric synthesis, enzymes for chiral catalysis, non enzymatic chiral catalysis.
