Aims, contents and method of the course

Within the seminar "Computational Life Sciences" the manifold applications of information technology in the field of life sciences is discussed. This WS13 we will focus specifically on the theme "Phylogeny and phylogenomics" at various levels of Life Sciences. Alongside several talks on theory and applications, students will work out and present recent literature.
