Aims, contents and method of the course

ECTS: 2.0
The objective of this lecture is to introduce students of pharmacy and related disciplines to some interesting topics of cosmetic chemistry with relevance to pharmaceutical sciences. The following chapters are dealt with: active compounds of cosmetics, perfumery, pigmentation (natural and artificial pigmentation, sun protection, melanoma, pre-tans, after sun preparations, etc.), repellents and dental pharmaca and -cosmetics.
