Introduction to pharmaceutical data management; handling of structure data, spectroscopic data, and other analytical data; pharmaceutically relevant aspects of bioinformatics; use of computer-based information sources (online databases); electronic publishing of research results

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Acquisition of basic skills in the field of Pharmaceutical Informatics; preparation for the participation in more advanced courses (e.g., in drug design)
Examination topics
Face-to-face part: lecture using Powerpoint presentations, screenshots, live demos
Practical part: practical computer work (database searches etc.) with some assistance
