Aims, contents and method of the course

ECTS:
The seminar imparts knowledge about tropical medicinal plants, poisonous plants and useful plants on the example of Costa Rica. Botanical aspects (morphology, systematics of tropical plant families) as well as chemical constituents and the use in phytotherapy and traditional medicine are discussed.
