Aims, contents and method of the course

Einführung in die (pharmazeutische) Biotechnologie, niedermolekulare Wirkstoffe (Vitamine, Nukleotide, Carotinoide, Antibiotika) aus Mikroorganismen mit Beispielen für Biosynthesen und deren Modifikationen, Pflanzenbiotechnologie.
Pharmaproteine: vom Gen zum Protein, bakterielle/Hefen-/Pflanzen-/Säuger-Expressions-systeme zur Proteinherstellung.
Transgenesis, Gentherapie, Genomik und molekulare Diagnostik.

Assessment and permitted materials

Schriftliche Prüfung (multiple-choice) ohne Hilfsmittel.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Vermittlung eines Grundwissens in der pharmazeutischen Biotechnologie.
Es müssen mindestens 60 % der Gesamtpunktezahl von 50 Punkten erreicht werden, es werden nur ganze Punkte vergeben.
