Aims, contents and method of the course

In this lecture the following subjects are treated:
Hygienic procedures
Morphology, growth and metabolism of bacteria
Properties and classification of viruses
Morphology ans classification of fungi
" Infectious disease caused by bacteria (grampositive- and negative bacteria,
spirochaetaceae, chlamydia, rikettsia)
" Infectious diseases caused by viruses (DNA- und RNA-viruses, subviral
germs)
" Infectious diseases caused by fungi (systemic, subcutane and
cutane mycoses
" Infectious diseases caused by protozoes
" Infectious diseases caused by helminths
" Infectious diseases caused by arthropodes

Assessment and permitted materials

3 questions, each question has to be answered to at least 50 percent for a positive result
