Aims, contents and method of the course

This lecture provides in-depth knowledge of evidence-based pharmacy, which enables students to make decisions in pharmaceutical care and counseling based on the application of the best possible evidence (clinical studies, therapy guidelines, pharmacovigilance).

The knowledge acquired is used in the course “Interpretation of Clinical Studies” that accompanies the lecture. A positive completion of the lecture examination is therefore a prerequisite for participation in the exercise "Interpretation of clinical studies".

This lecture is offered as a face-to-face event.

Assessment and permitted materials

-) Written exam
-) Mixed examination mode: open questions and "multiple choice" questions
-) Exam duration: 60 min

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

-) Number of questions: 12 questions
-) Maximum number of points: 12 points

For a positive assessment, you must achieve at least 3.5 points in both examination parts: part 1 (Kampleitner) and part 2 (Kamyar).
