Objectives of the course:

The students
• know frequently asked questions from current pharmaceutical practice and can offer adequate advice.
• Based on their specialist knowledge, they can represent their own opinions regarding pharmacotherapy and act on their own responsibility.

Assessment and permitted materials

Block Lecture
The VU self-medication is an intrinsic examination course, in which attendance is compulsory. This means that courses that are immanent to the examination are graded as a whole and, in addition to attendance, also participation, homework and tests (final examination) serve in equal parts to assess performance.

As a course with continuous assessment, the VU self-medication is graded as a whole. In addition to attendance, participation, homework and tests (final exam) are also used to assess performance.

The exam consists of 2 parts, namely 15 multiple choice questions (30 points) and a case study (30 points). Each part has to be positively
(over 50%) completed.
