• Introduction to software tools for the processing of NMR spectra (e.g. Bruker TopSpin)
• Discussion of successful structure elucidation examples of pharmaceutically relevant compounds and isolated compounds from natural sources
• Structure elucidation examples of the following structure classes: flavonoids, alkaloids, triterpenes, sesquiterpenes, aromatics and heteroaromatics, nucleosides, antibiotics, peptides, ...
• Stereochemistry: Which NMR experiments are useful and helpful for the determination of stereochemistry? Interpretation based on examples
• Discussion of problems and cases of doubt in structure elucidation with NMRAim: Independent structural elucidation of simple small molecules by evaluating and interpreting 1D and 2D NMR spectra
