Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

This course is designed for those who wish to use NMR daily and want to deepen their understanding of how NMR experiments work and their theory.
You will be able to understand proton and carbon spectra and be familiar with the ideas of chemical shifts and couplings. You will be introduced to 2D NMR spectroscopy underlying all experiments needed for structure elucidation.
The lecture requires no prior NMR knowledge and is open to everyone.
The lecture is a prerequisite for the subsequent NMR lectures in the Master and PhD program.

Assessment and permitted materials

Written assessment
Lecture notes, books are allowed.
