Aims, contents and method of the course

This course provides students with an understanding of infectious parasites of humans (especially those caused by protozoa, helminths, insects, ticks and mites).

The course covers the biology of the parasites, life cycles, clinical featuresand laboratory diagnosis, etc
Students will gain practice in the laboratory diagnosis of some human parasitic infections.
