During the seminar, we will discuss in depth specific topics from the two lectures on "Global Nutrition" and "Global Nutrition with Special Emphasis on Public Health". The program will contain presentations from the participants (being the basis for marking the participation), presentations from external guests, group work on "Project Cycle Management" as well as on PRA. The program will be finalised after all topics have been chosen by the group of participants.

Aims, contents and method of the course

This seminar is meant to go into depth in some of the topics that are part of the lecture on Global nutrition. Each participant will be assignd to a specific topic and has to present this topic during the seminar. Presentations will be held in English

Assessment and permitted materials

To pass the seminar, students need a 50% score
50 % active participation
50 % Presentation

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Main objective is to treat some of the Topics from the lecutre "Global Nutrition" in - depth. In Addition, critical reading of scientific publications to develop own ideas, pros and cons of certain research methods. Presentations can be made in German or English
