Aims, contents and method of the course

OBJECTIVES: by successfully completing the VO, students have an active understanding of biological and plant science basics

CONTENT:
-Basics of biology (evolutionary biology, cell biology, systematics)
-Plant science basics (systematics of plants, structure of the plant)
-Selected groups of plants of particular nutritional importance
-Applied aspects for the use of bacteria, algae, fungi and cormophytes in human nutrition

METHOD: Lecture

Assessment and permitted materials

Written exam (multiple choice), 4 exam dates, exam takes place on site, exam duration 60 minutes

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

At least 50% of the questions must be answered correctly, point score:

62,99-50,00% = 4
74,99-63,00% = 3
86,99-75,00% = 2
100,00-87,00% = 1
