Aims, contents and method of the course

Calibration of volumetric flasks, error control, theoretical fundamentals of titrations, photometry, thin layer chromatography, enzymatic analysis, high performance liquid chromatography, flame photometry and ion chromatography;Sample preparation and analysis of different foodstuffs, composition, preserving agents, enzymes, artificial and natural dyes, toxic compounds

Assessment and permitted materials

Grading of the analytical results; Grading of the lab protocols; Result of the final exam

Mediation of fundamentals of food analysis

Examination topics

Qualitative and quantitative analysis of food samples; Writing of lab protocols by summarizing the experimental details and showing and discussing the analysis results
