Aims, contents and method of the course

Novel aspects of nutrition epidemiology including critical evaluation of epidemiological studies, study design of epidemiological studies, outcome interpretation of epidemiological studies, epigenetics, concept of important national and international nutrition surveys (NHANESIII, ASNS, NVSII), assessment of nutritional status in epidemiological studies, validation of instruments for the assessment of food and nutrient intake, emerging areas of nutrition epidemiology based on major reviews and articles. The seminar is intended for postgraduate and PhD-students and will entirely be held in English
