Aims, contents and method of the course

Introduction into the topic, risk perception, risk assessment, risk analysis, national and international food monitoring, health claims, food safety in Europe, responsible institutions, concepts of food safety, HACCP, introduction in methodologies

Assessment and permitted materials

Presentation: 60%, Discussion 40%

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Gain knowledge in methods to monitor food safety at national and international level, manifold appraisal of the expression food safety
