Aims, contents and method of the course

Radiation sources, absorption of radiation, dose/effect relationships

Assessment and permitted materials

Written examination, 50 minutes, continuous assessment, grading consists in final examination (50%) laboratory work (30%) and written lab journal (20%); to pass the course, overall performance of at least 60% necessary.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Imparting of basic knowledge of radiation chemical/radiation biological and photochemical/photobiological interactions

Examination topics

Actinometry, dosimetry, spectralphotometrical analysis, dose-survival curves
