Aims, contents and method of the course

Definition, study design and dimensions of nutritional epidemiology; nutritional status assessment: methods and design; dietary assessment; selection criteria, problems and measurement error in dietary assessment; anthropometry; biochemical and clinical assessment of nutritional status; physical activity assessment.

Assessment and permitted materials

Written exam (multiple choice) about course contents.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

To provide basic principles for indepentend planning, conducting, and analysing specific hyoptheses in nutritional epidemiology.
