Aims, contents and method of the course
The following statistical topics/methods are covered and illustrated by examples: Types of studies and experimental design, regression, nonparametric tests, and multiple testing. The use of statistical software (SPSS) is also demonstrated.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
The aim is to learn about essential biostatistical methods. An understanding about the application of these methods in the field of nutrition science should also be gained.
