Aims, contents and method of the course

Introductory statistics course with examples taken from nutrition science: exploratory data analysis, basic probability, estimation and hypothesis testing, simple regression, experimental design

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

familiarity with basic statistical methods and statistical thinking, ability to interpret statistical results, learn about common misconceptions and errors when applying statistical methods
