Aims, contents and method of the course

Basics in general chemistry (Atoms and periodic system of elements, solutions (solubility, heat of solution, solubility product, diffusion, osmosis), chemical reactions (stoichiometry, reaction rate, equilibrium in chemistry, mass action law)
Basics in inorganic chemistry (solubility of salts, acid-base reactions, redox reactions, compounds)
Basics of organic chemistry (chemical bonds between carbon atoms, classification of organic compounds, functional groups, modern unit operations and analysis methods, nomenclature, structural isomerism and stereoisomerism , types of organic reactions, short characterization of organic compounds (hydrocarbons, oxygen compounds, nitrogen compounds), unit operations and separation methods)
