Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
Introduction to epistemological and methodological foundations of translation and interpreting research with a view to the completion of an MA thesis in translation and interpreting studies; lecture with visual support (PowerPoint) and opportunity for questions and discussion.
Assessment and permitted materials
Exams are conducted in digital written format. Further information is provided through the Moodle news forum.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
The written exam comprises one short essay question. The use of resource materials is permitted. Grading is based on a point system (max. 6 points). At least 3 points are required for a passing grade.
Examination topics
As presented in the lectures and in discussion, complemented by readings indicated in class.
